Public Access to Town boat landings
Public access fees for the three Town of Packwaukee boat landings are now $5.00 per day, payable at the boxes at each landing, or $25.00 for an annual pass that is good at all three landings. Annual passes can be purchased by contacting the Town Clerk or Town Treasurer. Additionally, the annual passes will now be valid for a calendar year from January 1 to December 31 of a given year.
Public access fees are due for any use of the landing/launch facility such as launching watercraft (fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, etc.), use of launch area or pier for fishing, winter use of launch for lake access for ice fishing, and any other use the public utilizes the launch/landing facility for.
All launch fees collected, daily or annual fees, are placed in a designated fund within the towns budget and that money can only be used for improvements and maintenance of the boat landing facilities.
The three town owned boat landing areas are:
- Freedom Road
- Hollenbeck Landing
- Williams Lake Landing
If you believe any of these facilities need maintenance or repair, please contact a member of the Town Board immediately.
